Q: What does your installation process look like?
A: Installing a chandelier/ light fixture is not quite as simple as screwing in a light bulb. It is a craft in itself, and at Glass Forest, we have built an entire process around making sure that every piece we supply finds its way to exactly where it belongs, hanging perfectly, glowing beautifully, and built to last.
It Starts Long Before We Arrive at Your Door
The process begins the moment you choose your piece. Once you have selected your chandelier, our team gets to work understanding your space. We ask about ceiling height, room dimensions, the existing electrical setup, and the kind of atmosphere you are hoping to create. Whether you are lighting a grand double-height entrance hall in Mumbai, a cosy dining room in Bangalore, or a luxury hotel lobby in Delhi, the preparation phase is where we make sure everything is right before a single tool is picked up. Good installation is about far more than the day itself. It is about making the right decisions early so that nothing is left to chance later.
We Work Pan India
One of the things our clients appreciate most is that Glass Forest operates across India. We are not a brand that ships a box to your doorstep and leaves you to figure out the rest. Our installation teams are based across the country, which means whether you are in a metro city or a smaller town, we can get our people to you. We coordinate directly with your architect, interior designer, or site manager so that the installation fits seamlessly into your broader project timeline. We have worked on private residences, boutique hotels, restaurants, and commercial spaces from the north to the south of the country, and every project gets the same level of care and attention regardless of its size or location.
The Installation Itself
On the day of installation, our trained team arrives with everything needed for the job. We handle all the rigging, wiring, and mounting. For larger or more complex pieces, particularly our statement crystal installations and multi-tiered designs, this can be a carefully choreographed process that takes several hours. We do not rush it. Every arm is checked, every crystal is inspected, and every connection is tested before we consider the job done. We also take the space seriously. Our teams work cleanly and carefully, making sure that your floors, walls, and furnishings are protected throughout.
After the Installation
Once the chandelier is up and lit, we walk you through basic care and maintenance so you know exactly how to keep it looking its best for years to come. We are also available for any follow-up queries or adjustments in the days after installation.
