Lotus Pond

“Live life in its totality. And living in the world, don’t be of it. Live in the world like a lotus flower in water: it lives in water, but the water touches it not.” – Osho
Water is worshipped in South and South East Asia and the flower that thrives in it, the Lotus, is considered an epitome of divine beauty. Lotus ponds of Angkorwat in Cambodia have inspired this mural. It is rooted in culture yet modern in its interpretation. The mural kindles through the dark as if several beautiful blooming lotus flowers emerge from the muddy water.
Material: Handblown glass leaves and buds along with mirror polished and lacquered stainless steel. The beautiful glow and reflections are created using custom designed LED light fittings.
