Lotus Pond

“Live life in its totality. And living in the world, don’t be of it. Live in the world like a lotus flower in water: it lives in water, but the water touches it not.” – Osho
Water is worshipped in South and South East Asia, and the Lotus, which thrives in it, is considered an epitome of divine beauty. Inspired by the lotus ponds of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, this mural is rooted in tradition yet modern in its interpretation. The mural kindles through the dark, as if several beautiful blooming lotus flowers emerge from the muddy water.
Material: Handblown glass leaves and buds along with mirror-polished and lacquered stainless steel. The beautiful glow and reflections are created using custom-designed LED light fittings.
